In the spring of 2000, the idea for creating a handcrafted soap to soothe and nurture the skin was born in the mind of one woman shared with another, and An Ancient Art Soap Company was born in the little town of Strawn, Texas

The company co-owners and founders, Shanah Coe and Becky Lenoir, knew from the very beginning how important customer service would be in the fledgling enterprise, and so they vowed to always put customer care first. This shared priority is as important to them today as it was when the company first started. Not only do the women believe in offering a superior product line, but they are also committed to treating their customers as they would want to be. It's a Golden Rule that has worked well so far for all concerned.
